Sharing Calendars in Horde Webmail
This first part of this tutorial explains how to setup shared calendars between email accounts hosted on the EB Dynamics, Inc. server. If you want to share calendars between your company and another company that is not hosted or our server, you will be setting up remote sharing. Remote sharing is described below in this tutorial. We will be focusing on local sharing in the first part of this tutorial.
Sharing Local Calendars
Log into your webmail and select Horde as your webmail program. Then select Calendar and shown below.

To the upper right of the calendar you will see a + Calendars link. Click on this link to manage your calendars.

A popup will appear as show below allowing you to select which shared calendars to display. Click on [Mange Calendars] to setup the sharing on your calendar.

By default, your calendar is the only calendar in the list. You may add more calendars if you wish, but for now we will show you how to share your default calendar. Click on the keys icon as shown below:

Do NOT select any of the check boxes for All Authenticated Users. If you do, you will be sharing your calendars with ALL of the companies hosing on our server. Instead, enter an email address of an associate under Individual Users and click the check boxes corresponding to the privileges you want to provide to your associate.

Then click Save me@mydomain.com's Calendar to save the new user you have just added to your calendar's privileges.

A new row will appear for the next user as shown below. Continue adding users and saving to your calendar as you have done for the first user until you have added privileges for all of your associates.

When you are done adding associates, click Save and Finish as shown below:

Click Calendar to return to your calendar view as shown below:

Your calendar is now available to be viewed by your associates. Your associates can view and modify your events by checking the check boxes under Shared Calendars: as shown below.

Subscribing to Remote Calendars
To subscribe to a Horde calendar hosting on a different server, go into your calendar as shown above and click + Calendars, then [Manage Calendars].

Then click the Subscribe to Remote Calendar button as shown below:

Enter the login information for the email account of the person you wish to gain access to their calendar. The Name field is just a descriptive name you wish to name this remote calendar. The URL must be of the form http://exampledomain.com. Make sure you include the http://. Click Subscribe to complete the process.

You can see the new remote calendar at the top of the list. Click Calendar to return to the calendar view.

To display the events from a remote calendar, check the checkbox next to the remote calendar(s) as shown below.
